Substitute Teaching in Grafton Public Schools

Grafton Public Schools are actively seeking qualified substitute teachers. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED. Substitutes are called in when full-time employees are absent due to illness, travel, or personal reasons.

Substitute teaching assignments vary, ranging from overseeing a class during independent work to following a detailed lesson plan. As a Paraprofessional substitute, you may work with individual students or small groups to assist with their daily assignments. The only consistent aspect of substitute teaching is the diversity of experiences each day brings.

To apply as a substitute in Grafton, please email Mandee Lape to express your interest and provide responses to the written questions below. If accepted based on your answers, you will proceed with a CORI background check, fingerprinting, and attendance at a Substitute Orientation prior to completing payroll paperwork.
