Starting the Star Assessment
The videos below are meant to provide teachers with an example of how to begin the test. Please note, student device screens may differ slightly based on a number of factors.
The videos highlight and model the three primary steps teachers need to complete with students to start the Star Reading/Math Assessment. These include:
- Reading the appropriate passages in the Star Test Administration Manual (TAM).
- Reviewing the testing screens (found in the TAM) with students as you display them from your classroom projector/display.
- Walking students through accessing the test on their testing device.
